Cute Owl Hat

Just slipped this one off the hook a few weeks ago.  This is a hat that my neice requested for a friend of her's.  The baby is a little redhead so I am sure these colors look adorable on him.  Mom was very pleased with the outcome. :)  The pattern is just a basic beanie which can be found all over the web.  This is definitely not an original but I have added my take on the owl nose and the eyebrows in a selected fiber.  These little hats are so fun to make.  They make GREAT gifts for just about anyone, but especially the little ones.

Happy Friday

Well it's been a busy past week.  I've been working some and designing some but not really accomplished a whole lot.  I've been in search of ideas for the NICU babies.... something I can make for Valentine's Day.  I believe I have decided on TuTus for the baby girls and Onesies with an appliqued tie for the baby boys.  I have to work the weekend so I will be out shopping the first of next week for supplies and working feverishly on this project as the NICU is over-flowing with precious little babies.  Please check back soon.  I will put up some pics soon of some of the hats I have been working on, as well as pics of the NICU Valentine's Day project.

Welcome!!!

Happy Friday and welcome to my NEW blog!  I previously had two other blogs for a short time which were "The Scrappin' Tortoise" and "Paper Festival Designs".  You may or may not have stumbled across one of these blogs at one time or another.  They have both been deleted because I simply wanted a new blog name.  Both blogs were crafty sites and you will see the same type of things here and more.  I love the Lord and have been blessed in many ways.  The Lord has blessed me with the gift of craftiness and I pray that my life and choices do nothing less than please my precious Savior.
